What I would say is, firstly a HUGE thank you to you for your constant support and advice throughout this program. It is so easy to fall into bad habits and it helps to know that you can relate to having been there so many years ago. You are a true inspiration. Someone that I now look up to (especially as I am a huge CrossFit fan). My aim now is to 'do a Jason Grubb' (I've now penned that phrase) and go from frumpy Dad to a CrossFit contestant. As for the program, motivation has always been a demon of mine and I have tried loads of different programs, PT sessions, and Gym buddying and never stuck to it for the long term. Whereas now (even when I miss a WOD) I am super motivated not only to beat other participants' times, make up for a missed WOD, but to push myself further I would have done before. I would not be pushing myself this much if I just went to a gym! It's a program that can be done anytime, anywhere... and it's totally excuse-proof! Also knowing you have an incentive for a Top 3 spot really does help during those grueling workouts!
